IVAN, the talented, multilingual, cosmopolitan singer is introduced to the international music industry by Lemezbörze,…plusz magazine.
Growing up in Germany, later graduating in France, the singer’s passion has always been music, singing in particular. Winning a French chanson competition in 2001, he decided to pursue a professional singing career. In the same year, he was asked by a multinational company to prepare a promotional album that was going to be followed by four others. Featuring mostly covers of hit songs from different genres of music, he sang in several languages. During its European tour, he co-starred in the Austrian musical ’The Hunchback of Notre-Dame’ for almost two years (2003-2004), portraying two characters in both German and English.
After the tour ended, he returned to Hungary to carry on in the pop music industry. His first video clip, along with his debut album and a reporter’s book, came out in 2007. The album – containing pop, funky and r&b elements – is a sort of internal confession: the musical manifestation of the duplicity of a romantic soul and soaring, wild emotions.
The year 2009 gave him the opportunity to open towards international markets by recording with French entertainer Orlando the bi- and trilingual versions of the duet ’Move Around The World’.
IVAN’s transformation as an artist can be clearly seen in the video clip to ’Új vágy ébred bennem’ (A New Day Is Dawning) that was shot in 2009 in Africa. Maturity as well as a more resolute and stylish appearance are the cornerstones of the singer’s introduction as an international artist. His excellent knowledge of the English, French and German languages, as well as singing in Italian and Spanish without any accent allows him to go for it.
The talented, charming IVAN knows no dividing frontiers of any kind. His style of performing, being both suggestive and interactive, enables him to fulfill his main aspiration: to entertain.
